In collaboration with Keystone Associates and Newman Development Group WPD designed the landscape for a 122-unit market-rate mixed-use luxury apartment complex located across the Chenango River from Downtown Binghamton. The site’s programming offers both intimate and flexible recreational spaces for residents and families, including patio spaces, outdoor kitchens, a pergola, a dog park, a fire pit area, and a large centralized lawn. The design’s circular form organizes the site, provides circulation and access to the building, and addresses the site’s challenging grading through design choices that highlight this area’s unique riverfront character and animate the site’s emerging forms.
