Scott Whitham, RLA, ASLA, APA, Principal

Scott Whitham, RLA, is the founding Principal of Whitham Planning Design Landscape Architecture and has over thirty years of experience in leading complex projects and project teams, with work ranging across diverse built-environment disciplines. He has planned new regional park systems, revitalized urban waterfronts, led the preservation and rehabilitation of significant historic structures and landscapes, and managed the planning, design, and construction of educational facilities and campuses. Actively engaged in his community, Scott’s volunteer work has been equally diverse. He has chaired the City of Ithaca Planning Board as well as the Architecture, Planning, and Design Panel of the New York State Council on the Arts, and has served as a member on the Tompkins County Planning Advisory Committee,  among many others.
